Metro Art

Subway systems are not only extremely functional but are also the perfect space for art display. These are some of the most interesting ones I found but there were plenty all over the world to look at. Subway station are one of the best museum spaces, they get a large amount of visitors everyday and it’s a great way to learn about local artists.

I think the display of art in subway stations give commuters a sense of pride.  I remember the first time I saw the New York City piece of the crocodile and  the little people all over the station and how it brought a smile to my face. It’s a great way to spice up the day and learn something new.
