I found this Tepee on DWR and I thought it was funny but at the same time I know of people that have them in the back yard so I thought maybe it is a starting trend and maybe we are going back to Teppee times. As always DWR is charging and arm and a leg for their products but I thought it might spark ideas for the summer. Check it out and visit Design Within Reach for more info.

When the sun comes out and the birds are chirping the best thing to do is to go outside and enjoy the wonderful weather. My favorite thing to do is to hang my hammock and take a nap on it. There is nothing more pleasant and relaxing than the feeling of flowing and chilling on a hammock.

If you love the company and melody of birds this will be a great way to have them visit your home. Bird houses come in all size and shapes but I like the simplicity and modern look of this one. They come in eight glossy colors and are made of ceramic. These are designed and made by Jim Schatz in Greene, NY. Click here to view more of his ceramic pieces, there are not to be missed.

Artesana Interiors is a store that offers tiles, furnishings and antiques in New York City. Every tile and furniture displayed is exotic and sophisticated, most of the items are made and brought from Morocco. You can feel that every piece in the store was carefully chosen and handcrafted. I am in love with their giant tile collection. Tiles can be a great source of inspiration and here are my four favorite designs. These tiles show a great combination of colors and beautiful patterns.
Artesana Interiors is located 36 West 21st St. They have an incredibly inspiring showroom, you’ll feel you are walking into an artisans market.
