Fabulous is a good way to start describing this collection. These beautiful pieces are made in the U.S by EmersonMade. The collection is complimented by hand dyed and stitched flower accessories also made by the company. The two dresses are flattering and glamorous; The polka dot blouse and the high waisted denim go real well together. This is the day I finally get to wear this dress that has been sitting in my closet for two weeks… that’s a long time for a new dress to be in a closet. Since I love it so much and since it is a really comfortable and affordable piece I thought I’ll tell you about it. This is a dress by RVCA called Reminder, yes it has pockets! It comes in red, black and white. I had to go with black because it’s just more wearable. You can buy them at RVCA or Karmaloop.

I am in love with Lauren Morffatt’s work, her line is sexy and simple. Everything she makes is easy to wear and makes you feel like a million bucks. For the first two seasons back in 2001 Lauren Morffatt sewed all the pieces out of her 31-foot sail boat home docked in New York’s Hudson River. I have been shopping around stores lately and I keep stumbling across the brand Obey. I decided I would check out their line and find my favorite must-have pieces. You can never go wrong with a basic black tee like the one on the left or this strapless denim dress with the front zipper; also this black denim cropped jacket is a great addition to any wardrobe, it’s stylish and functional and the studs gives an edge to any outfit. Check out some of my favorite pieces from Confederacy, the dress is from Rag and Bone and the corset is by the talented Alexander Wang . Both of them are a strong trend with the strapless cut and the corset construction. The suits on the bottom are as sharp as the come. This is exactly what I want my man to wear to the next party, both of these elegant suits are by Albert Hammond Jr.
