Artesana Interiors is a store that offers tiles, furnishings and antiques in New York City. Every tile and furniture displayed is exotic and sophisticated, most of the items are made and brought from Morocco. You can feel that every piece in the store was carefully chosen and handcrafted. I am in love with their giant tile collection. Tiles can be a great source of inspiration and here are my four favorite designs. These tiles show a great combination of colors and beautiful patterns.
Artesana Interiors is located 36 West 21st St. They have an incredibly inspiring showroom, you’ll feel you are walking into an artisans market.

The Scandinavian House is a brand new store that opened in Williamsburg.
Fredrick, the owner of The Scandinavia House is responsible for finding classic and contemporary designs from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway.
The store is consistent with the Scandinavian design, clean design lines and simplistic approach to functionality.
The store is beautiful, colorful and really inspiring. Fredrick is constantly restocking his store with new products so every time you go you will find something new to fall in love with. Among other things, I fell in love with the cutting board for bread on the bottom right corner.
The store is located on 167 North 9th Street, between Bedford and Driggs Avenue. This is just a few blocks from the subway. Stay tuned for their website launch.

Color pencils were always my favorite gift as a kid. I never had enough colors in my pencil case. This is why I was very excited to see the Social Designer’s website, they offer a subscription to ship 25 color pencils monthly for 20 months; this way you can pay for them slowly and be the proud owner of an incredible 500 color pencil set!.
As you can imagine, 500 color pencils will not be your ordinary art set, this is something worth displaying. Social Designer sells four different types of displays, they are all fantastic ways to show this beautiful collection. I can’t stop looking at their images. They inspire me to take my color pencils out and start drawing.
