I saw this picnic box and I thought the colors went perfect together, they scream spring time. Don’t settle for one dish for your picnic anymore, this set allows to bring four separate dishes and carry it in a cute little case. Available in other colors at John Lewis.

I was browsing throughout the Conran Shop and I wanted to share my top two picks with you. The cookie cutter on the left is a really cute way to spice up your holiday cookies, this is a really good gift for the baking lovers. or a good ice breaker for the holiday parties this year.
My other pick is this dish rack that folds flat when is not being used and can be a colorful statement on you kitchen counter. This dish rack is a clever design for those that are space challenged in the kitchen but still want to have a functional counter top.

Here are some pictures of other pieces I found at the AIGA exhibit in Manhattan. I was really happy to see that some of the chosen pieces were full of unexpected color and fun compositions. AIGA, the professional association for design will continue to exhibit until November 25th 2009.
If you are in New York City, the best way to get there is by taking the subway to Union Square and walking north on 5th avenue. The show is free and it is a good inspiration tool for graphic and product designers.
Feel free to visit the AIGA’s website for more details and events in your area.
