Stewart + Brown

I visited the Stewart + Brown website and although their clothing line is really pretty and feminine, I was attracted by the beautiful photography used in their look book. The colors and treatment gives each image its own personality and they all fit perfectly with the brand. Check out their clothing line and some of the other pictures here.

Back To Basics At Intermix

The economic crisis has driven brands back to fashion basics. The dress shirts, the tees and cardigans are back in the game and this time they come in very wearable colors and soft materials. This season is about buying undated items that make you feel stylish and comfortable. These pieces are all from Intermix. The white shirt is from Haute Hippie, the tunic tee is by Splendid, the blue striped dress shirt is from Elizabeth and James and finally the striped cardigan is from Golde. Toast

Toast is a brand that designs apparel, accessories, home goods and footwear. Everything has a consistent timeless look with a spring look. These are all pieces that you can wear for years to come without looking outdated. Look at their leather bags, they are simple, functional are really versatile. Their coats and shirts are beautiful, I like the small details such as the cuffs and the length of the shirt. Check their online store here.

The 11th Moon. Laguna Beach, CA

The 11th Moon is a really charming women’s boutique in Laguna Beach. The selection of brands have a few things in common, good quality, comfortable fits and timeless designs. The 11th Moon is the type of store you go to find your favorite t-shirt,  sweater or accessory, that piece of clothing you will wear forever and only gets better with time.

When I went in the store I was greeted by Gillian, who was one of the nicest persons I’ve met that day. We talked about the brands she carries and how important quality standards are to her store and costumers. I love that they stand behind the smaller brands, they support their work and are proud of it. This store is not only a beautiful place to shop but also a place where you learn about other designers doing beautiful work.

Macalistaire. Laguna Beach, California.

Vintage stores are always a good place to find home goods, clothing and accessories. Macalistaire is Vintage shop located on 1950 South Pacific Coast Highway and is a spacious space filled with precious little treasures for yourself or for your home. They have furniture, decorative pieces, lighting fixtures, clothing and so much more. The home goods section was my favorite, because of the vintage furniture and accessories. Elle H Boutique. Laguna Beach, California.

I took a trip to Laguna Beach this weekend and finally got you the scoop on the newest and best boutiques in the area. Here is my first stop, Elle H Boutique. They are a woman’s shop with a great selection of brands such as Mike and Chris, Pleasure Doing Business, Black Halo and a bunch more. Elle H is a good store to find the most up to date trends at a reasonable price. They are having a really good sale right now so if you are in the area be sure to stop by 1833 S. Guy Baxter

Guy Baxter is known for his elegant style and beautiful fabrics but his line “Band Groupies” shows us a new side of his talent. These pictures show his casual style best, loose fitting clothing combined with smart details and native american inspired graphics. His designs always involve fabrics that lay relaxed on the body.

His lifestyle line is still eye catching and very rich in colors and fabrics. Guy Baxter covers it all, from the most sophisticated outfit to the relaxed at-home look. Visit his website and view both of his lines here.

Animal Hat by Oeuf

This picture my day. It’s absolutely adorable, the hat and booties are super cute!. This set is from Oeuf, where they also offer a dragon and a wolf one. Oeuf stands behind their quality, functionality and sustainability.

They not only make clothing and accessories for children but also design beautiful children furniture that can be used as a crib or todler’s bed to prolong its usefulness. Their design is really simplistic but effective, check out their full range of products here.
