My preferred brand of wetsuit is Matuse, their attention to detail and quality surpasses all the other brands. I am a huge fan of the brand and in my home we only surf with Matuse suits. I am super happy and excited to see the women's line of spring suits, rashguards and vests. These new models bring function and style to a new level. Some of these models were design by Alexandra Cassiniti, who owns a great line of clothing and accessories. I bought one of her spring suit a couple of years ago since Matuse didn't have one back then. I am happy to see that my two favorite surf brands are getting together to create the most functional and feminine wetsuits in the industry. To view the entire collection, click here....
This summer has been amazing and surfing has been super fun, I can't complain. The water has been perfectly warm most of the time and the waves the perfect size for me. I am a fan of spring suits and lately more and more companies are launching more feminine and sexier spring suits for women. I came across Seea while looking at women's wet suits online and I am really into them. I love the color blocking and the cut of these suits. These suits will stand out on the lineup at the beach and give you extra girl power on the waves. I am undecided but I am pretty sure one of these will be in my closet this fall. For more styles of Seea click here.
This stool reminds me of my time spent in the model making studio when I went to school for Industrial Design at RIT. I remember the day I found out about the vacuum former and I remember thinking the infinite possibilities! It was so much fun to see how each sheet would turn into a 3D product with the touch of a button.
When I saw this stool online this week, I was so happy to see the perfect blend of wood and plastic together to support a functional piece of furniture. I don't know a lot about the designers behind this project but I think they are from a school in Israel. For more information about this project and for a video on how this is made you can click here.

Broken Things by Livia Martin
While I love pottery and the traditional look of my morning tea mug, I have to say these ones from Livia Martin are a unique piece of art. These are sculptures curated at the House of Propellers Gallery in London. The artist, Livia Martin, lives and works in London and earned her MFA in Chile. I love how she incorporated the delicate floral print into the melted-like porttery pieces.

Brookfarm General Store
Brookfarm General Store has always been a favorite of mine. They carry thoughtful home goods that will remind you of simpler times and their neutral colors make the perfect gift for any home. This charming shop is in Williamsburg, Brooklyn but you can always shop online and get a great variety of products from the comfort of your home. This is a great place to get a housewarming gift or for any other special occasion. I selected some of my favorite ones here, this light cotton scarf looks super cozy and is a great every day accessory. The linen trays are a great accent for a coffee table and it has an unexpected texture and color to it with the striped linen inlay. Finally I also added a beautiful leather dog collar, the richness of the leather and the simplicity of the construction caught my eye, I know this would be a great dog lover gift.

This spring season is going to be one of the biggest and most exciting times to find a new hat. Hats are coming back to everyday wear and hopefully they will stay for a while. I am looking forward to my Spring trip to Japan and I have a great feeling I will find a really fun and unique hat there. My last trip to Tokyo was an awakening trip, Japanese fashion is far ahead of everyone else and they have adapted hats to their wardrobe as an everyday item. Salt Surf Boards in NYC
I love the concept behind Salt Surf shop in New York City. People in the city of New York always forget they live so close to the ocean and the fun surf. This shop reminds people that it's okay to surf more and work less. The shop offers, beautifully crafted surfboards shaped by Mauricio Avila, bags, t-shirts and hand painted, hand cut and one of a kind DL skateboards from Williamsburg, NY. When I find a good gift idea I always like to post it in this blog. It's not always easy for find interesting gifts so here is something I found this week that can be very classy for men or a great accessory for women. It is a bowtie and handkerchief set from Activist Eyewear in collaboration with emerging bowtie label Alfred Julius. The bowtie is made of genuine ripstop nylon and the handkerchief is made with microfiber so it's perfect when you need to clean your glasses. What I like most about it is the green and orange color combination. For more details on Activist Eyewear, their eyewear collection and more, click here.
Heart you Tote
I really like these practical totes with a simple message, "LOVE". The tote is made of canvas and has leather handles, the heart print is on both sides, one is red and the other is black as shown on this picture. This is one step above the common everyday and sometimes boring tote. The tote is made in the USA and it's available at Fluffyco.
