The Cross Decor and Design, Vancouver Canada
On my trip to Vancouver last year I came across a store called The Cross Decor and Design right on the corner of Homer and Davie St. This shop has a large variety of home goods and accessories, it's beautifully decorated and if you check online you can see an even larger range of furniture. They are known for their choice of bold colors and classic design. They carry all those pieces that will make a loud and stylish statement in your home. If you are planning a trip to Vancouver be aware of all the great boutiques, as well as the beautiful outdoors and the friendly people. Vancouver Adventures: Capilano Park
On our last day in Vancouver we decided to get even closer to nature and visit the Capilano Park where we found the longest, higher and oldest suspension bridge I have ever walked on. My fear of heights was overtaken by the surprise of something so majestic. This bridge was super wobbly and shaky, it was as if I was on a boat in the open sea, all my pictures of the bridge were out of focus due to the movement, it was so hard to get it right!
The bridge was just one part of the park's attractions, there is also a very energizing nature trail around the forest and a tree top walkway that was super fun and much more stable. I highly recommend visiting this park if you have a few hours to spare, this was a fun, relaxing and revitalizing way to end our visit in Vancouver.

Vancouver’s Public Market
Our second day was wet and colder than we expected but we decided to brave the rain and walk to across the Granville Bridge to visit the Public Market. This is the perfect place to get a bite to eat, get to know the local farmers and buy great souvenirs for the foodies in your circle of friends. They have the freshest produce, baked goods, coffee, teas, honey and prepared foods.
I had a clam chowder puff pie soup which was was super delicious. You may be wondering where the picture of the soup is, well I started to eat it and by the time I remembered to take the picture the soup was gone. It's a good excuse to go back to Vancouver soon.

Vancouver on a bike ride
I've been meaning to add more on my trip to the beautiful city of Vancouver, BC. On our first day in the city we decided to rent bikes and ride around Stanley Park, Gastown, Chinatown and Yaletown. This is the perfect city to bike all day long while also getting to know the area. It is a very bike-friendly city and finding a place to rent a bike is easy, I highly recomend checking out Vancouver by bike at least one of the days you are in town.
These are a couple of the pictures taken that day. The first one was taken in on the Stanley Park Bike trail while watching sea planes land and take off and the second picture was taken at the Sun Yat Sen Park in Chinatown.

Old Faithful Shop. Vancouver, Canada.
Last week I decided it was time to visit the beautiful city of Vancouver in Canada. The city was just as I remembered it, filled with the nicest people, fantastic food and the greatest shops. I biked my way through the city to get an idea of the place before I walked it and as soon as I biked by Gastown I knew I had to go back to take a better look at some of the shops in the area. This is one my most favorite shop in Vancouver, the Old Faithful Shop had a great selection of products, an inspirational industrial decor and best of all the most welcoming staff. I could have stayed in the shop for another hour looking at all their product. I wished we had something like this right in Orange County, California.
