Here is a great gift idea for the cooks in your life. Beehive Kitchen makes great kitchen accessories like these measuring spoons, cheese flags and tea strainers with a twist. There is a variety of other products available at Beehive but since I am cooking fanatic I found these functional and really cute.

One item that caught my eye at Yolk was this piece from the whimsical designer Camilla Engdahl. This is a tea or coffee pot with a cup that is also a lid. This is a new line of stoneware hand painted in the United States by Sometimes She Does. The creators of Bailey Doesn’t Bark decided to make a sister company that will make room for more a playful and colorful line of tableware. Here is a another great ceramics company, these colorful and sleek pieces are from Perch a company based in Brooklyn, NY. Perch is dedicated to making every piece by hand in the United States. My love for ceramic goods only grows when I see a handmade line like the one from Rae Dunn. I found her work at the Renegade Craft Fair and I really enjoyed the details and love she puts into every piece. Clean and functional design that makes your home a better place. These are all from Side By Side, a German based company founded in 2001.
