Twenty8Twelve

My dear readers, I am on a trip that keeps me away from the internet. Here is my attempt to make up for the lost time. My posting today is about Twenty8Twelve an elegant and easy to wear collection of neutral tones and sexy designs. This is a company created sisters by Savannah and Sienna Miller based in The Netherlands. The whole line is beautiful and perfect for all sorts of occasions. You can’t go wrong with Twenty8Twelve.

Cynthia Rowley For Roxy

Colors have finally arrived to the wetsuit category. Black is always stealth and mean but pastels are PRETTY! This is a Roxy collection designed by Cynthia Rowley and it’s finally available in stores. The Cynthia Rowley line includes dresses, board shorts, swimsuits, shoes and accessories. Check the whole line here.

If you are going out surfing this weekend, and plan to be showing your best tricks, why not show them in style?

Loeffler Randall

Here are my two favorite pieces from Loeffler Randall‘s Spring 2009 collection. Biker inspired jackets are still a strong trend, this one uses silver zippers to highlight the style. Jumpers are just starting to pick up as a style. I love women in jumpers but be sure to try them out before you buy them, not all jumpers are for everyone. This Loeffler Randall jumper has a boned bodice, side pockets and a leather belt, I haven’t seen it in person but this looks like a winner in my book. Check these and more of Loeffler Randall here.

Rachel Pally

Spring 2010 is just around the corner, so if you are not ready for swimsuit shopping yet at least you can check out the new line from Rachel Pally. Here are my favorite one but I recommend you visit her website here for more dresses and tops. Enjoy!

Quick Notes: ,

Lauren Kovin

I came across Lauren Kovin this week  and wanted to share her work with you. These pictures are not from her latest collection but I still found them really creative and exciting. These are pieces from her 2009 Spring Summer collection. They are made with lightweight fabrics and can be worn differently depending on your style. The one on the top has extra long sleeves that can be rolled up and wrapped around  the body to give it an unique and more stylish look. The blue dress on the bottom is also a pretty piece with a front pocket and an open back. I like the way the fabric gathers and falls on the body, the colors are really captivating. All these beautiful pictures are by Julie Miller. For more info on Lauren’s line click here.

Mcqueen’s Pre-Fall 2010 collection

This is a sneak pick at Alexander Mcqueen’s Pre-Fall 2010 collection. As you all may know Mcqueen past away on February 11th this year and with his loss he left behind yet again another amazing line that we can all cherish. Alexander Mcqueen was an icon of British fashion. His runway shows were alway highly anticipated and always out of the box. He had a incredible view of the future and always showed us his best work without a care in the world for what other people would think. We will all miss him greatly.

Bijou Van Ness

Bijou Van Ness offers a glamorous collection of hats for women. These are my four favorite hats from the line, they are sexy, classy and chic. Rehn Dudukgian is the designer behind this elegant line of hats and as he explains “When you see a beautiful woman in a beautiful hat, you know she’s not afraid to be seen. Bijou Van Ness is not afraid to let her be seen.”

A hat is that added accessory that not only makes any woman stand out from the crowd but also reflects confidence. Get yourself a beautiful hat and you will find a new source of beauty within you. Visit Bijou Van Ness’s website here.

Alexandra Cassaniti's Neoprene Line

One of my favorite local designers is Alexandra Cassaniti. I first saw her website and felt in love with her reversible spring wetsuit and bags. Then I found out she also made a reversible bikini suit with the same neoprene material. What I admire the most from her brand is that everything she designs and manufactures is made in the U.S.

A month ago I found out  she was having a sample sale in LA. I couldn’t miss it, this was my chance to try the suits out and finally give them a space in my closet.  When I like something I keep going back to check it online which I did for over 8 months! When I got to the sample sale I went right to the table and grabbed the last suit and bikini left.

I was helped by the nicest woman ever, and after I tried them out I mentioned to the lady how much I love the designer and how I keep visiting her website every other week. To my surprise I was talking to Alexandra Canssaniti herself!.  I have to say that Alexandra is not only a talented designer but also a really humble and super friendly person.

As for my purchase, I got both of my suits ready for a warm day. I can’t wait to go surf this summer wearing my new wetsuit! Visit her website here to see her new line.

Dace

Dace Moore is the founder and designer of Dace. A sophisticated and modern line of clothing for women. Everything she designs makes you feel beautiful and comfortable. I love her color choices and relaxed fits. Visit Dace to learn more about the British Columbia based designer. This is one of those brands that produces beautifully made wardrobe essentials. Love the work you do Dace.

Matt Bernson

Matt Bernson comes to us again with great Fall styles in really beautiful leathers. This is a brand based in New York City who makes their line in an artisan workshop in the South of Brazil. Matt Bernson is known for their leather sandals that can be worn casually or to a formal event.  I am in love with boots these days so I want to show as many options as possible.

These are my two favorite styles for Fall. A biker inspired leather boot with straps and a short collar. The great thing about this leather boots is that they are made with chrome-free skins, which means no toxic waste is dumped in the beautiful beaches of Brazil. The second pair are these grey heel booties with an overlapping detail and a small peep opening on the toe. These are made with super soft Napa leather. Matt Bernson is committed to using the high end material and artisan craftsmanship. Click here to see the whole Fall collection.
